The Esprit – New For 2016

Hot Read Hot read Apr 12

The Esprit is a classically inspired bicycle that has been stripped back to the essentials of contemporary design. Developed for riders who love the Vintage style, but demand a quick and nimble bike.

Elegant with agile handling for nipping around the city, the Esprit also rolls effortlessly so you can comfortably take her for longer spins.

Recently reviewed by Treadlie magazine and Ride on Australia, here’s what they had to say…

Treadlie Magazine

Elegant Vintage with Zip. REID’s latest offering for women who enjoy a little bit of zip will no doubt find itself in the hands of a few blokes.

The elegant Esprit comes with Shimano Tourney 7-speed gearing in a sleek, mixte body. At 12.2kg our team found the Esprit a breeze to manoeuvre through the city, attend meetings and cruise back to Treadlie’s St Kilda office. The gearing was smooth and the ride comfortable.

The Esprit represents a new direction for REID, known for their entry level offerings. Built to last, with welded steel tubing and alloy components, this bike is an attractive option for women who are after a vintage look but with more speed and durability.

Ride On Australia

The most widely read bike magazine had this to say about our Espirt…

REID are going from strength to strength, and the Esprit is a particularly nice demonstration of the strides they’ve taken in the quality of their products. It’s a seven-speed vintage-styled ladies bike, but it’s not just pretty—it’s also light and robust enough for everyday use. With a clean design, pared-back graphics, and full-length mudguards, the Esprit is the kind of bike to reinvigorate a love of bike riding.
