At Reid we’re known for our environmentally friendly approach and pledges towards reducing our carbon footprint. We’re passionate about protecting the environment and encouraging our community to do the same. On that note, we’re excited to introduce you to our brand new eBikes. A full suspension eBike and an eCargo bike, the Sphinx and KADe respectively.

Its here! The all new Reid KADe electric cargo bike. Having been acutely aware of the importance that electric mobility plays in protecting our planet from further climate change, we have been actively growing our eMobility range for a couple of years now. 

The hardest product to develop by some way (and hampered further by the disruption caused by Covid-19) was a cargo eBike. This has been on my wishlist to add to the range for over two years now, since we first started developing the model. I see cargo ebikes as a true car alternative, and another step towards less cars on the road. Our new KADe is feature packed, and has a very premium look and feel. We are taking orders for 2023 now, but if you want some for 2022 please let us know asap as we may be able to supply a small amount for this coming year still. 

Sphinx is our first Full Suspension eBike and it comes fully loaded with everything you could need for a perfect day out, featuring a 110NM torque mid motor, 130mm travel fork, Shimano disc brakes and Maxxis Rekon 2.4″ tyres.

The Reid Sphinx was designed to be a versatile full suspension eBike equipped with a powerful 250W, 110NM torque Ananda mid-drive motor and 15AH fully integrated DT battery. The 130mm travel is enough to handle the rough off road descents whilst not being a slog on the up hills. Its also equipped with a Suntour XCM34 BOOST fork, Shimano disc brakes with 180mm rotors and Maxxis Rekon 2.4″ tyres. The Reid Sphinx is just at home in the dirt as it is being used as a daily driver with the added comfort of the suspension.
