We’ve got a super cute Reid Rider to share with you this month. Rowan is 5 years old, riding without training wheels and even taking part in an upcoming kids triathlon. Keep reading to find out more about his experience with a Reid Viper 20″.
Introduce yourself…
I’m Rowan. I’m five years old and I’m from Michigan. I live in the country. My sisters are Zoe and Emma. My little brother is William.

When and how did you get into bike riding?
I got a balance bike when I was two. When I was three, I started riding a pedal bike without training wheels. Riding my bike is my favorite thing to do.
What is it that you enjoy most about cycling?
I love going really fast. Faster than my sisters and my brother

How did you get your hands on a Reid?
(mom) Rowan has been practically attached to a bike since age two. Last fall, he wanted to move up to a 20″ bike with gears, but the bike we got from Walmart was too heavy and difficult for him to control. It wasn’t safe. I called a local bike store (Dennis Bicycle Shop in Alma, MI). He sells Reid bikes and was able to find the perfect bike for Rowan.
Which Reid bike did you ride?
Reid Viper 20″
How has it treated you?
Great! It’s my favorite bike ever. I can go super fast when I shift it.
What have you done and where have you been with it?
I just got it a little while ago. I ride it everywhere. I especially like to ride it on trails and at my Papa’s river house up north.
Do you have any other future adventures planned?
This summer, I get to do my first Kids Triathlon!
Finally, what advice would you give to those who are considering getting into bike riding or perhaps have never tried it before?
It’s really fun! It’s ok if you fall off sometimes.
