This month we are introducing you to 43 year old Marcelle, an eScooter rider from Aus. Keep reading to find out more about his experience with Reid and how he enjoys exploring his city.
Hi my names Marcelle im 43 years young from Perth Western Australia. I support those with disabilities and through this have learnt that there are no limits to life just a mater of your mindset.
When and how did you get into bike riding?
I live in a beautiful city and have often seen so many on bikes and scooters out and about and enjoying the sights and wonders, not to mention its great for your health in general wellbeing. So my wife and I went to our local Reid store and purchased our first scooters and I can honestly say apart from using my car for work it’s mostly left in the garage now so it’s been a big savings on fuel.
What is it that you enjoy most about cycling?
I enjoy getting out of my head and the freedom of just riding my scooter around my city and taking in everything around me not to mention the ability to just pull up at any coffee shop or bistro and enjoying a beverage and it being accepted that this is the new norm. Its by far the best investment iv made yet towards our social lives.
How did you get your hands on a Reid?
My wife had always purchased her bikes from reid in the past and with the service and support they always provided her for years it was easy to transition to our E scooter through them as we already held the Reid name in high regard.
Which Reid bike did you ride?
We both have 2 Reid Boost eScooters
How has it treated you?
As previously said this is by far my favourite investment towards by general health and wellbeing and provides many hours of fun and exploration for my wife and I to enjoy on our weekends
What have you done and where have you been with it?
We have travelled in and around our Beautiful city and captured some great pictures of landmarks and even started posting different places we have visited for breakfasts and dinners that are scooter friendly.
Do you have any other future adventures planned?
It would be nice to travel to different places around the world and bring our escooters with us and may be something to plan for future insta stories perhaps.
Finally, what advice would you give to those who are considering getting into bike riding or perhaps have never tried it before?
I initially thought I’d be a little to old for this type of hobby but the more I observe now is that there is no age limit or perception of a E Scooter rider it’s just becoming more and more popular
