Artist recreates famous landmarks with Bicycle Tires

Artist Thomas Yang uses what is quite an unlikely paint brush – bicycle tires! Using the round, textured tool and black paint he recreates famous landmarks from around the world including London Bridge, the Eiffel Tower and the Empire State Building. Each piece is limited to 100 copies, hence his website 100copies.net. He also creates other amazing, cycling-themed artworks all with fun and quirky designs – all limited to 100 copies.

Yang uses up to 7 different kinds of tracks to create his pieces. He meticulously applies black paint to the tires and rolls them across the paper in intricate designs.
