Did you know that for every bike we sell (including this one) we will plant a tree? Yes, that’s correct, by buying a Reid, not only will you be getting an awesome bike at a great price, you’ll be planting a tree in the process, sustaining the environments that we love to ride in! Well done you!

The wide gear and 50/34 Compact FSA crankset mixed with the wide gears (11-32T) mean the Reid Falco Elite is at home in the mountains.

The double-butted 6061 alloy frame with hydroformed tubing and internal cable routing is lightweight. Moreover, the Reid Falco Elite has a balance of vertical compliance and lateral stiffness for excellent on-road handling. The carbon fibre fork lowers weight and further reduces road buzz.

The Shimano 105 R7000 20-speed gearing is a solid performer that put simply, gets the job done. As Shimano trickles the technology down, the 4700 uses very similar technology to the higher level 105.

1 review for Falco Elite

  1. Bikerex

Outfitted with arguably the highest quality build kit here, the Falco Elite outshines others on this list for componentry. Groupset comes courtesy of Shimano in the form of its ever dependable 11-speed 105 groupset which is paired to a compact FSA crankset. Alex rims are laced to quality Novatec hubs, shod with grippy Continental tyres.

Reid have been making noticeable improvements to its frames in recent years, and this latest iteration features double butted hydroformed tubing, clearance for 28c tyres, internal cabling, smooth welds and a revised geometry. All up, this value-packed steed is more than deserving of a place on this list. It is worth noting that Reid has a small handful of retail shops to collect fully built bikes from, otherwise the bikes ship partially built in a box to your door. If you’re not mechanically minded, a bike built and serviced by a local bike store may serve you better.
