In September 2016 REID once again showcased their vintage models sold in Spain at Unibike, with our Spanish distributor, Lenubu. Unibike is not only a trade show, it’s open to the public, so it’s a great opportunity to get feedback from both our retailers and customers in the Spanish market.

This year we went for a seaside themed display to create the effect of a picnic at the beach, and the customers loved it! We also printed lots of our Instagram images in a Polaroid-style featuring our customers enjoying their REID bikes. This nostalgic display was designed to bring back memories of the seaside as a kid. We love seeing photos of our riders enjoying their bikes.

Some of the new products released into Spain this year were very well received, with particular attention being given to the Esprit. The Esprit is our latest sports commuter, and as commuting by bike is gradually growing in Spain, we want to give customers the ability to do it in style!

We have also just released our vintage bikes in a new smaller 26 inch wheel size and a 42cm frame which is more suitable for teenagers and smaller adults. This has proved popular and we think it will become one of the most popular sizes now.

We now have more retailers than ever selling REID bikes across Spain, and with the feedback and interest from new retailers at the show we are very confident that we will continue to increase this number.
